What is DIGIARCH?

DIGIARCH is a tool that allows for the description of archival collections in a standard environment based on the ISAD(G) standard while establishing a hierarchical relationship between the different elements described: background, sections, series, files, etc.

The latest version is DIGIARCH 4.5

Allows the management of standardized metadata, archival descriptions and digital objects through ISDIAH, ISAD (G), ISAAR (CPF), EAD, EAC, METS (1.12), HIGH (4.0), PREMIS, ESE 3.4, EDM 5.2.8 (Europeana Data Model) and LOD (Linked Open Data).

DIGIARCH is aimed at archives interested in the description, diffusion, recovery and preservation of archival materials in a linked and open digital environment.

• Describes the documentation in a standardized and multilevel way following the ISAD (G) standard.

• Manages digital objects from digitization projects, facilitating the importation of multimedia objects.
